Lindsey Luna

Co-Founder of Sounds of the People, Lindsey Luna is a talented performer and multi-faceted writer, artist, vocalist, and violinist with a love for storytelling. She goes by the music name HNY (henny), and has been making music since she was 4 years old. Inspired by the likes of Doja Cat, SZA, Adele and Amy Winehouse, she hopes that she will inspire others by telling her story in her Alt R&B/ Hip Hop style. Her favorite performances include the Legendary SOB’s in New York City, the Inaugural Sounds of the People show on November 6 in Walla Walla, Festival Cultural 2022 and 2023 at the Gesa Powerhouse Theater, Los Globos Nightclub in Los Angeles, the Sounds of the People Black History Month at Whitman College, COCOA’s Juneteenth Jubilee and more.

She was born and raised in the Boston area to a Dominican/American family before moving to SE Washington. She has also lived briefly in Arlington, VA and North Hollywood, CA.

She hopes to continue to bring a variety of diverse shows and publicity for up and coming artists to the Pacific Northwest and beyond for years to come.
